Read this Before You Tackle Your Weekend Home Projects
I'm getting practical this week with tips for your home.
Happy Thursday!
It’s almost the weekend, which might mean you’re starting to think about shopping, laundry, organization, taxes, home maintenance & projects…typical Saturday stuff. Just ask Will Farrell; he knows what I’m talking about:
If you want to know how I spend my Saturday mornings, it goes something like this: I get up as insanely early as I do during the week (5:00 a.m. is sleeping in for me) and always start with my favorites…
Coffee with The Good Stuffâ„¢ - a performance coffee supplement by For Wellness. It helps me focus and reduces inflammation and caffeine jitters. Plus, it makes my coffee creamy and delicious. Later in the morning, I have a ForWellness Focus Bite, and I also love their Recovery Gummies after yoga or a long run. Click here for any ForWellness products and get 25% off with ABBEY25. (Yes, a bit of a commercial, but I only share what I truly LOVE!)
AG1 - after a two-year hiatus, I’ve added this delightful morning green drink back into my routine. OMG, I forgot how much I love the taste and enjoy the benefits - gut health, focus & energy, stress & mood balance, and immunity. Did I mention it has 75 vitamins and minerals? This link takes you to a handsome AG1 starter pack offer - a month’s supply of AG1, a canister, a shaker bottle, 5 travel packs, and a year’s supply of Vitamin D & K. (Plus, it’s not just for breakfast - here are some recipes to enjoy AG1 all day.)
Breakfast… I never skip it. I rotate between a smoothie (Sun Warrior is my go-to protein powder), a gluten-free English muffin with almond butter, Cream of Rice topped with warm raspberries and nut butter (not as good as my old favorite Cocoa Wheats, which I’d essentially cover in sugar, but it’ll do), or dairy-free yogurt topped with warm berries and nut butter.
Anywho, after I’ve spent 4 hours getting all of that ready, I head upstairs to my office to do a bit of work.
I run or do yoga mid-morning, but before that, I do something you might not expect.
Wait for it.
I watch HOME REPAIR SHOWS WITH MY HUSBAND.
You guys, I don’t know how it happened, but watching the installation of insulation, flooring, ceilings, and a million other things fascinates me.
And also leads to What I’d Rather Be Talking About this week:
HOME REPAIR and MAINTENANCE!
Why am I so UPPER CASE pumped about home maintenance?
Really not sure, but my obsession is your gain as I’m going to share a list of things you might want to tackle in your home this month (or any time you read this, really).
From the handyman/contractor stuff to the nitty gritty organizing and cleaning - I’m here to talk about it.
